Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced AI Head of Product/AI Product Manager to lead our internal AI initiatives tailored specifically for healthcare practices and practitioners. You will be responsible for product planning, execution, and compliance with healthcare regulations (including HIPAA). Security and cybersecurity experience is highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage AI-driven product strategies and roadmaps tailored for healthcare environments
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, compliance officers, and healthcare practitioners
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulatory standards
- Oversee product security and integrate robust cybersecurity practices
- Manage product lifecycle from conception through launch and ongoing enhancement
- Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback, drive adoption, and ensure customer satisfaction
Common Tools and Applications:
- JIRA/Confluence: Project management, documentation, and agile product development
- Azure/AWS/GCP (Cloud Platforms): Cloud computing services and HIPAA-compliant data storage
- Docker/Kubernetes: Deployment and orchestration of containerized AI applications
- TensorFlow/PyTorch: Developing and deploying machine learning
- Git/GitHub: Version control and collaborative development
- Security Compliance Tools: Qualys, Nessus, or equivalent cybersecurity solutions for vulnerability assessment and compliance monitoring
Qualifications:
- Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, Healthcare IT, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably within AI/ML and healthcare
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and healthcare compliance
- Experience in cybersecurity best practices and security standards
- Strong communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills
