Asst. Manager AR

Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager AR ensures that invoices and payments are handled with precision and efficiency. This position focuses on maintaining strong vendor relationships, streamlining reconciliation processes, and supporting seamless financial audits. Additionally, the role involves optimizing payment workflows to enhance operational effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the Accounts Payable team and daily processing of invoices and payments
  • Ensure accurate entry and coding of invoices in the accounting system
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Monitor cash flow requirements and prepare payment schedules
  • Reconcile monthly statements and identify areas for process improvements
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
  • Assist in financial audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
  • Implement and maintain efficient payment processes
  • Train and mentor team members on best practices

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in AR Department
  • Bachelors in relevant field
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
