Job Description:
PRG Pakistan is seeking an experienced individual for the position of Head of Artificial Intelligence (AI), to lead our strategies, development, and implementation across the organization. This senior leadership role will be responsible for driving innovation through AI technologies, managing cross-functional AI teams, and ensuring that all solutions align with business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in machine learning, data science, and AI infrastructure, along with strong business acumen and leadership skills.
Requirements:
- PhD or M.Phil in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied AI roles with hands-on project delivery.
- Proven ability to lead AI projects end-to-end, from ideation and research to deployment and iteration.
- Exposure to agile software development and product delivery in a cross-functional environment.
- Familiarity with common stacks: Python, MLFlow, TensorFlow, PyTorch, as well as cloud architecture, APIs, and devops pipelines.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and team building skills, with experience working alongside software engineers, analysts, and designers.
- Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams, bridging gaps and offering strategic recommendations without requiring formal authority.
