Job Description:
PRG is on the lookout for a highly skilled Principal Engineer (SaaS) with around 8+ years of experience. They will lead the development, design and scalability of our Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms. This is a senior-level role requires combined & deep hands-on engineering expertise with strategic architectural direction. The ideal candidate must have technical leadership skills, will play a critical role in driving product innovation and setting technical standards across the development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, build, and optimize secure, scalable SaaS applications.
- Collaborate with product managers to translate product vision into engineering strategy.
- Provide mentorship and leadership across engineering teams.
- Lead code reviews and ensure high engineering standards.
- Partner with DevOps and QA for continuous integration and delivery.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong knowledge in cloud-native SaaS (Azure preferred)
- Proficient in modern backend languages (Node.js, .NET, Python)
- Excellent grasp of software architecture, micro-services, API design
- Experience in health-tech or compliance-driven industries is a plus
