Job Summary:
The Social Media Specialist will play a pivotal role in developing and executing social media strategies for our healthcare clients. This position requires a visionary marketer who can lead planning, oversee execution, and mentor junior team members while delivering innovative, data-driven results.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Design and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with clients’ goals
- Campaign Ideation and Execution: Brainstorm creative campaign ideas that resonate with target audiences in the healthcare industry
- Team Leadership and Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior social media marketers, providing feedback and fostering professional growth
- Calendar and Content Planning: Oversee the development and management of social media calendars
- Performance Analytics and Optimization: Monitor and analyze campaign performance using analytics tools to identify trends and opportunities
- Trend and Competitor Analysis: Stay ahead of social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep campaigns innovative and competitive
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent work experience
- 3 to 4 years of professional experience in social media marketing, with a proven track record of successful strategy execution
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, platform-specific insights)
- Ability to develop creative ideas and translate them into actionable strategies
- Strong English communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders
- Creative thinker with a data-driven approach to strategy development and execution
- Knowledge of healthcare marketing, HIPAA compliance, and industry regulations is a significant advantage
