Responsibilities:
- Installation, Configuration, administration and troubleshooting of VMware Esxi, Vcenter, HA, FT and Vmotion and vSwitch.
- To deploy several VMs from, Templates and customized their configurations as needed.
- Evaluate new products and recommends VMware updates and upgrades.
- Management of Datastores on VMware and HP SAN.
- Responded to server down alerts in a timely manner and brought them up via HP iLO
- Participate in regular 24×7 on-call rotations and coordinate with the offshore team for night-time scheduled activities
Experience:
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a VMware Administrator
Skills Required:
- Good Knowledge of Virtualization,
- especially VMware.
- Familiar with Windows/Linux OS
- Good understanding HP SAN,
- SAN Switches,
- FC, FC Zoning,
- HP Blade System,
- Virtual Connect
- Onboard Administration
